Samsung has launched the Z560, a very slim HSDPA (or 3.5G) handset. This follows the launch of the world’s first HSDPA phone, the ZV50, last June in France and Italy. HSDPA offers high-speed wireless Internet access comparable to speeds of fixed-line ADSL services.
With a profile of 16mm, the Z560 supports a 1.8Mbps data transfer rate and includes advanced features such as a 2-megapixel camera with auto focus, external touch music keys, 30 MB of internal memory and microSD external memory slot. The Z560 also has a wide display (2.3” QVGA 262K LCD), which is ideal for viewing rich content.
The Z560 has been launched in France and Germany and will be released in other European countries shortly.
